The countryside and woods around the flats offer the possibility of long walks in unspoilt nature. We are only five minutes from Montepulciano, one of the most wonderful tuscan towns, with supermarkets, restaurants, hospital, tourist-office and courses in italian.
In about an hour you can reach most of the famous cities of Tuscany and Umbria. An hour and half away is the sea, half an hour distant are the 1700 metres Monte Amiata or the lakes Trasimeno and Montepulciano (WWF reserves).
Swimming-pool and Tennis are nearby and the area offers horse-riding and mountain biking. For those who do not want to cook there are good local restaurants with tourist menues nearby.
